St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Monday this year, but most of the events will be held the Saturday prior, which is March 15. From live music and pub crawls to the city’s annual parade, Houston The Houston St. Patrick’s Parade will coincide with the 18th annual Houston Irish Stew Cook-off and Music Festival. Running from 11 am to 6 pm a Woodlands Social (313 E Woodland St.) , the indoor/outdoor cook-off and festival will feature hearty Irish stew as well as a competition for the best Irish dish, dessert, coffee, and chili.
